NHS Lanarkshire are committed to ensure that we provide the best possible care to our patients at all times. In order to support and sustain valuable general practices, Protected Learning Time (PLT) is being introduced from June 2024 across all GP practices in each of our 10 localities.
PLT is an opportunity for the GP Practice team including clinical, management and administrative staff to address learning and professional development needs.
Our practice will close on Wednesday 28th August 2.00pm – 6.00pm to take part in Protected Learning Time for all staff.
If you require acute or urgent medical attention during this time call the practice as usual and you will be diverted to dedicated call handlers who will triage you to the most appropriate person. For routine enquiries such as blood results or repeat prescription enquiries please call back when the practice re-opens.
